Fedrigoni Paper Stocks

Fedrigoni have a nice section on their site showing printed examples of a lot of their paper stocks. Because I didn't receive the sample pack I sent for it meant I could get a good idea of what some of the products printed on their paper look like.

Fedrigoni Research

The first 3 scans are from Paperwork by Nancy Williams. For my Fedrigoni Paper brief I am thinking of designing a calender to promote their london showroom. I want top use embossing as I think this has a really tactile feel and it draws your attention to the paper itself because their is no ink or other process used to create the image.

A really interesting calender created using only embossing

The next 5 scan are from the book Paper Engineering: 3D Design Technique for a 2D Material by Natalie Avella

I'd quite like to include a business card in the calender, this is a very nice way to display it

I don't really wanted to do a full on piece of paper engineering, but I might consider something really simple like this.

These last 2 scans are from Bags, Label, and Point of Purchase by Carolyn Jessica. A very simple but lovely embossed poster.

Further Ted Baker Research

The three scans directly below are from a book called Bags, Label, and Point of Purchase Carolyn Jessica

I like the idea of creating and inventive, unusual tag for my Ted Baker Brief

I could possibly create a point of sale like this that has more than one level

The next two scan are from a book called Paperwork by Nancy Williams

I like the idea of possibly die cutting a flyer or receipt slip to work with the image of the mustached man I have created.

Banners

I came across this cool piece of design on Rydias photostream on flickr. A very nice use of banners I might use something like this on my Ted Baker brief.

Sigi Eggertsson

A designer called Sigi Eggertsson makes some really cool images, constructed in a modular way.

Ian Wright

I'm going to construct a large scale window display for my Ted Baker brief. I really like the way Ian Wright works, constructing a large image out of smaller elements.
